2010-11 Speech & Debate Team

Speech and Debate is a strong academic team here at SDA. This year we have over 25 active students who will attend over 20 tournaments, both local and across the nation.

Every year we qualify students to the State and National tournaments. Our first tournament will be here at SDA on Friday, September 24 at 3:30 pm and Saturday, September 25 at 8:30 am. The judges’ room will be in Mr. Tow’s Speech & Debate classroom (room 74) but the competition rooms will be spread out in other classrooms at SDA.

Folks are welcome to come and watch or come and help judge (we’ll provide judges training on both days). If you’re interested in observing or in judging, please contact one of our team Moms:
