I’m writing to encourage you to support SDA Speech & Debate!

Please purchase a Mustang Card, which is a discount card that gets you great deals for local establishments, restaurants, retail outlets, etc. If you frequent Berry Happy, East Coast Pizza, Leucadia Pizzeria, Encinitas Surfboards Inc., The Coffee Bean, or a host of other local businesses, then this card is for you.

Each card costs just $20, can be used multiple times, and lasts a year (expires 9/1/2011). Just using the card a few times in the year will save you money and help support the Debate team.

If you are interested in supporting our team, you can email your request to me at alexrosengarten@gmail.com with your mailing address. I will then email to you my mailing address and upon receipt of a check made out to “SDA Foundation/Debate Team,” I will mail a Mustang card to you in return.

All the proceeds support the SDA Speech & Debate program and help pay for judging, travel, and tournament expenses. SDA has a very competitive and successful debate team. Just last year we took 1st place in sweepstakes in the Regional Varsity Tournament and in the Jack Howe Memorial Tournament at CSU Long Beach as a team.
