"The group initiated eighteen members into a Chapter formed at Oceanside. In October thirteen members were initiated into the San Dieguito Chapter as ‘Greenhands.’

At the San Diego County Fair they won first prize on their booth. They also participated in the El Centro County Fair and in citrus judging at Corona."
