August 20th: 4-8 pm no host, site to be determined

August 21st:

  • Time: 5:00 -12:00
  • Location: Elks Lodge, 1393 Windsor Road, Cardiff
  • Dress: Casual attire
  • Menu: Catered Mexican Taco Bar, Rice, Beans, Salads, Dessert
  • Entertainment: DJ
  • Cost: $25 per person
  • Reservations: Paid Reservations only to

August 22nd: Picnic Glenn Park, Cardiff, 11:00- ? Bring your own picnic

Your 40th Reunion is coming up (egad… how can it have been that long?)

Your class witnessed the Kent State shootings, the first episode of All My Children, the first flight of the Concorde, and the disbanding of the Beatles just before they released Let It Be.

Perhaps most significantly, yours was the first San Dieguito class to be able to vote at the age of 18. Congratulations!

Kathy Stanton is your hard-working class representative. She’s planning a reunion event August 21-22, 2010, so please email her and give her your contact information.

We ask you to also consider joining the Alumni Association, too. It’s free, and we do not share your contact info with anyone except your registered class representative for reunion-planning purposes.

You will receive a newsletter two or three times a year containing historical articles about San Dieguito as well as news about alumni events.

And now we leave you to reminisce of the days when gas was 36 cents per gallon and Gunsmoke and Get Smart were still on TV.
