Grad Nite Council
Grad Nite’s purpose is to provide a safe and drug/alcohol free environment for graduates and at the same time have fun with their friends and celebrate their success. Graduation night can be a time for great tragedy due to students going to parties.
All the parents involved in making this event happen are committed to keeping these students safe on this potentially dangerous night.

Grad Nite portraits are a popular part of the evening
Be a part of keeping SDA graduates safe and providing them with a lasting memory of the important lessons learned and relationships made at SDA.
If any parents would like to be a part of this creative and fun activity and meet other parents please come and join us.
News about upcoming Grad Nite events may be found on this page. See the 2011 Grad Nite portraits here, and the 2011 Grad Nite candids here.
It takes over 200 volunteers to make this event happen. There are many ways to participate in the Grad Nite event, from volunteering your time and creativity in the weeks leading up to Grad Nite, joining in the fun for the evening, or cleaning up the morning after. We especially need night owls who can join the early morning party. If your time is limited, you can also help by donating raffle prizes or make a monetary donation.

Jousting at Grad Nite
Volunteer sign ups for the Grad Nite evening event will be posted January 2012. If you would like to volunteer for Grad Nite, please contact the Foundation Office at sdafoundation@sduhsd.net.

Grad Nite food is really good!
Business Partners
Grad Nite’s success is in large part due to all of our Business Partners who donate food, raffle gifts, and provide other important event support. We show our appreciation and heart-felt thanks through publication of ads in several local newspapers as well as in ongoing publicity announcements to students and parents. (Below is a listing of last year’s Business Partners.)
Please let us know if you are interested in becoming a Business Partner with SDA to help support Grad Nite 2012! Email sdafoundation@sduhsd.net.
