This year, SDA hosted the second weekend of qualifiers for the San Diego Imperial Valley League and was able to feed and host 31 rooms to over 150 competitors and 70 parent and community judges. Donations were made from the following vendors:

I want to recognize the hard work of the students who did not qualify to States, but still placed in the top 20 percent of their events in the San Diego Imperial Valley League. Some of the students had to compete against 60 other teams or students.

Overall as a school we placed 4th and we only had 50 percent of the entries that the schools that placed 1st through 3rd, so we did major damage in small numbers. Congrats to those students and San Francisco here we come!!!

Grad Nite festivities are for SDA graduating seniors only!

Friday, June 15th: Graduates will check in at SDA between 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm. Festivities will continue until Saturday morning, June 16th, when graduates will be picked up by a parent/guardian between 4:30 and 5 am.

Ticket price includes all food, activities, and a Grad Nite t-shirt. Grants (financial aid) are available through your student’s counselor. We want ALL graduates to share this very special time together. Prices are as follows:

• Only $65 until Friday, April 27, 2012
• Only $75 from April 28 – June 15, 2012

1. Read and follow the Grad Nite Code of Conduct and Guidelines.
2. Complete the Registration Form. Sign where indicated. Make sure your parent or guardian also signs! This is a requirement even if you are over 18 years old.
3. Return signed registration form, along with a check made payable to SDAF Grad Nite to: SDAF Grad Nite, 800 Santa Fe Drive, Encinitas, CA 92024

Parents/Guardians:

1. Read the Grad Nite Code of Conduct and Guidelines and discuss with your graduate.
2. Review the Registration Form and sign where indicated. Both graduate and parent/guardian must sign!
3. Make sure you include a telephone number where you can be reached on Grad Nite.

The scarves are navy and white striped and the beanies are navy with a thin white stripe along the bottom edge. Both have SDA and Mustang embroidery. Scarves are $17 each. Beanies are $15 each.
