First was his award-winning, critically acclaimed world premiere production of THE END OF IT, which premiered at San Dieguito High School Academy.

Then were was PAIN, another Paul Coates world premiere at SDA!

And now there IS THE MIDDLE OF IT, WHICH will be presented in the Clayton E. Liggett Theater as a Benefit and Fundraiser for San Dieguito Academy on FEBRUARY 25 at 3pm and 7:00 pm.

The primary couple in the play (Jason and Alyson) are dealing with their only son, who has gone off to college and suddenly the house is quiet.

I think “Empty Nest” tales have gotten short shrift, and it was my aim to really and truthfully examine the dilemma in the family makeup of suddenly having those unfilled bedrooms lurking in the home.

I’m excited to convey this very important theme in so many lives – to an audience of many who are going through this.
