Wind Ensemble I – Meets VPA/UC/CSU requirements. Instructor approval or audition required. Jazz Band – The Jazz Band is formed by audition in the fall. The group is primarily composed of musicians from Wind Ensemble I and Wind Ensemble II. The Jazz Band performs at various events during the school year. The band also regularly performs for school assemblies and other school functions. The Jazz Band is considered a club activity, and therefore no school credits are given. => Learn More

Pep Band – The Pep Band will perform at various SDA sporting events, and possibly other school events as well. The Pep Band is open to all members of the band program. This is an extra-curricular activity, and there are no credits offered for the Pep Band. => Learn More

Pit Orchestra – The Pit Orchestra is a small ensemble of musicians that accompanies the Spring Musical each year. Since we are serving as accompanists for the Theatre Program, a high level of musicianship and commitment is expected from all Pit Orchestra participants.
