Instrumental Music P (B6662) NEW CLASS (previously “Guitar”) – This class is open to guitarists, pianists, percussionists, & wind players of all levels. Expand and/or develop your musical skills through generous amounts of practice time in our new Performing Arts Center. Prepare music for class recitals, outside performances, or even college auditions. You can also use our computer lab to notate your own original compositions!
Meets VPA requirement for graduation. This course is no longer a college prep course. Beginning in the Fall of 2012, students will no longer be required to play music written in standard notation. We will also be experimenting with some “Rock Band” units, with the thought of perhaps offering the “Rock Band” course in the Fall 2013.
If you have always wanted to learn to play an instrument, this is the perfect class for you. This would also be a good prerequisite to Symphonic Band or Wind Ensemble if you are interested in joining our band program. Please see Mr. Wuertz if you have any questions about this new course.
