The Coffee Concert is the first performance given by the band each year. This year, the concert will take place in the Performing Arts Center during 1st period. Coffee and pastries are served following this informal concert: hence the name, “Coffee Concert”! Parents are invited to attend this concert, and we often invite fellow classmates to fill out our audience. This tradition was started by the previous Music Director, Amy Villanova. I have retained this great concert tradition throughout my 6 years here at SDA, and it has steadily become one of our favorite yearly events.
This year’s Coffee Concert will be held on October 7th. Parents are encouraged to attend. We will begin promptly at 8:15 AM.
