The Mouse That Roared is set in the mid-1960s in the small country of Grand Fenwick, a place still stuck in its medieval ways. The story begins with the country under great distress when they discover that a false version of their wine, which is their main export, is being made and manufactured by the United States. They decide that the only way to save themselves, and their economy, is to declare war on the United States of America.
In this gut-busting comedy, we follow the characters of Grand Fenwick as they go about declaring war, and the leaders of the United States as they find themselves under attack.
