Liggett. <\/p>\n<p>The evening of comedic sketches, readings, and improv about High School was the second annual alumni benefit for the school&#8217;s Theatre Department.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Lingering Smell of High School&#8221; contained several insider gags that our alumni attendees appreciated. Ariane is  hilarious and had nice words to say about the students who helped put on the show. <\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Strangely Attractive&#8221; team included Patty Wortham and Tom Lenk. <em>See the both' \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<br \/>\nAriane Price graduated from SDHS in 1992 and has fond memories performing in the old Roundabout Theater. SDHS is where she discovered her love of improv.  As an adult, Ariane is living her dream as a member of the famed Los Angeles Comedy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.groundlings.com\/\" title=\"Groundlings Theatre website\">Groundlings Theater<\/a> where she writes and performs sketch comedy and performs improv &#8212; doing four shows every weekend.<br \/>\n<div id=\"attachment_1921\" style=\"width: 128px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1921\" src=\"http:\/\/sdafoundation.com\/sdaf\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/ariane-price.jpg\" alt=\"Ariane Price\" width=\"118\" height=\"158\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1921\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1921\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ariane Price<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Ariane is the host of a web series on Mom.me called Web Crawling.  You may have seen her in appearances on <em>Lost<\/em>, <em>Modern Family<\/em>, <em>Bridesmaids<\/em> and others.  You can see her on <em>Abe&#8217;s Trophy Wife<\/em> this February.  She lives with her husband, who is a chef, seven year old son and two rescue dogs in the Hollywood Hills.<\/p>\n<p>Patty Wortham is an alumni of the Groundlings Theater and currently performs with <a href= \"http:\/\/improtheatre.com\/\" title=\"Imrpo Theatre\">Impro Theater<\/a> in Los Angeles.  Impro Theatre creates completely improvised, full-length plays in the styles of the world\u2019s greatest playwrights, authors and composers.  Patty was in the critically acclaimed show Closing Escrow with Wendi McLendon Covey and Cedric Yarborough as well as many other productions. She is a graduate of Barnard College.<br \/>\n<div id=\"attachment_1920\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1920\" src=\"http:\/\/sdafoundation.com\/sdaf\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Patty-Wortham-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Patty Wortham\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1920\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1920\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Patty Wortham<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Thomas (Tom) Lenk attended the theater program at UCLA and was the recipient of the Carol Burnett Award and Scholarship.  Tom has had a wide variety of acting jobs, be they in film, on television, or on stage.  Most notably, Tom toured with the cast of <em>Grease<\/em> and <em>Rock of Ages<\/em>. Acting and singing are not Tom&#8217;s only talents, he is also a playwright, having written three plays to date.  He had a recurring role as Andrew W More in <em>Angel<\/em> and <em>Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em>.
