\nFri. 18 – Official inaugural of High School
\nFri. 25 – Student Body election
\nTues. 29 – Attempt made to open high school safe<\/p>\n

October 1936
\nFri. 2 – All school party held in auditorium (Alma Mater)
\nWed. 7 – Scholarship Society organized
\nThurs. 8 Football game: S.D., 19, Grossmont, 0.
\nTues. 13 – Drama Club organized.
\nWed. 14 – ‘Mustang’ selected as high school emblem.
\nThurs. 15 – Bonfire pep rally (Blue and White)
\nFri. 16 – Senior Class sponsored a dance in auditorium.

\nThurs. 22 – First issue of school paper, “Observator”

\nMon. 9-16 – National Education Week
\nMon. 9 – Future Farmers’ initiation
\nTues. 10 – Armistice Day Program
\nWed. 11 – No school – Spanish club went to Ensenada
\nThurs 12 – Hockey luncheon
