On December 1st, tickets will go on sale for the world premiere presentation of my second play in The Living Plays<\/em> trilogy, THE MIDDLE OF IT<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This is a benefit performance at San Dieguito High School Academy in Encinitas, where two of my other plays, The End Of It<\/em> and Pain<\/em>, also premiered. I hope you will come see this production in February. <\/p>\n

The Middle Of It<\/em> is, like The End Of It<\/em>: a story of three couples living their lives with their children (the ones the couples from “End<\/em>” didn\u2019t have). Their ups and downs, their joys and sorrows, their joy… and yes, their “pain”. <\/p>\n

Clayton Liggett, from the 1973 Hoofprint<\/p><\/div>Once again, I\u2019ve gotten lucky to snare an amazing cast of guest artists, alumni from SDA and LACC and current, wildly talented students from the Academy itself at San Dieguito. <\/p>\n

Cast: April Audia, Bill Barker (’74), Lorena (Darter) Connolly (’79), Jean Henshaw (’75), Jacob Morilak (’20), Ben Rovner, Jennifer Sorenson, Jenna Steinberg (’18) and Jewels Weinberg (’16). <\/p>\n

Performances: Saturday, February 25th, 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm<\/strong>. Tickets are $35 each and there will be a limited amount of VIP Tickets for $135. (evening performance only).<\/p>\n

IF YOU CANNOT COME<\/strong>: please consider making a donation to the SDA Foundation<\/a> and we will seat a current SDA Student in your place! (Your entire donation will go to the Theatre Arts program and you will receive a tax receipt.)<\/p>\n

As you know, these benefit fundraisers are imperative to the Theater Department at SDA; they pay for technical support, costumes, sets, and much, much more. <\/p>\n
