To that end, schools in the CIFSDS establish no contact policies to insure that student\u2013athletes will have a defined period of time that schools and coaches may not intrude upon<\/em>&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cifsds.org\/uploads\/2\/3\/3\/6\/23368454\/2018-19_cif_san_diego_greenbook.pdf\">CIF San Diego Section Greenbook<\/a>, ARTICLE XX \u2013 NO-CONTACT PERIOD)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Official Tryouts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tryouts are normally held in November prior to the start of the high school winter season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button aligncenter\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/sdafoundation.com\/boyssoccer\/tryouts-2020-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CURRENT TRYOUTS INFORMATION<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expectations once Teams are Formed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Attend the Mandatory Player\/Parent Meetings, typically shortly following tryouts: <ol><li><strong>Pre-season Sports meeting w\/Athletic Director <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Boys soccer parents&#8217; meeting w\/the boys soccer Liaisons and coaching staff<\/strong>.\u00a0 Players should <strong>not<\/strong> attend this meeting. <\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Attend all team practices<\/li><li>Attend all team games<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Communications<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>This website will be the primary source of information during the preseason, up to and including tryouts.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Once teams are selected, <\/b>the team liaisons will use <a href=\"https:\/\/teamsnap.com\">TeamSnap<\/a> for our calendar and email\/text communication from Team Parents and Coaches.&nbsp; More information will be given to parents once teams are formed.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General info When is the boys soccer season?
