Below is a listing of our large annual events. \u00a0Please refer to the Online Calendar<\/a> for a complete listing of current events and dates.<\/p>\n Travel for the 2024-2025 school year: <\/strong><\/p>\n Anaheim Forum Festival:<\/strong><\/p>\n Students from SDA and Torrey Pines will form an orchestra and a concert band to compete at the Forum Festival in LA. Following the performance students will spend the rest of the day at Disneyland. The following day, there will be a performance by the Vienna Philharmonic. Come out to support your Mustangs on March 8th.<\/p>\n Jazz Band New Orleans trip:<\/strong><\/p>\n Students who partake in our Jazz band every Thursday will be taking a trip to New Orleans to attend the Annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Stay turned for photos!<\/p>\n The Fall Concert is the first concert of the year. \u00a0The ensembles will perform officially for the first time and in their concert attire! Refreshments will be available at intermission.<\/p>\n Each year, members of the San Dieguito Academy Band march in the Encinitas Holiday Parade. Students enjoy wearing festive attire while participating in this annual tradition.<\/p>\n The Winter Concert is a formal performance featuring all ensembles.\u00a0 Refreshments will be available at intermission.<\/p>\n The bands perform annually in spring music festivals, some of which involve adjudication. This typically involves one or two Saturday performances during the month of March.<\/p>\n The Spring Concert is a formal performance featuring all ensembles. This annual concert is held in the SDA Gymnasium. Graduating seniors are recognized and a slideshow is played in their honor.
