Dear SDA Baseball Families,
Welcome to the SDA Mustang Spring Baseball season! There is a MANDATORY Spring Sports Meeting on Monday, Feb. 29, 2016 at 6:00 PM in the SDA Gym. Please note that the Spring Sports Meeting is a MANDATORY meeting that at least one parent or guardian must attend and sign-in.
Attached you will find two documents. One details the contributions vital to the success of our baseball program. The second is the Contribution Acknowledgement form. Please complete and sign the form and return it at the mandatory parent meeting on Sports Night.
After the meeting in the gym, there will be a Baseball meeting in the Mosaic Café.

Welcome to Spring Baseball 2017. Tryouts are complete, teams are practicing and the Spring season is here. Below is Information from Coach Carlos about Sat Practice and field work day.

If anyone is available we will be doing some work on the Varsity baseball field after practice! We will be pulling weeds, adding some conditioner to the infield and cleaning out bullpen area. We will begin working on the field by 11:30am! Hope to see you Saturday.

2/27/17 – Spring Sports Night (Mandatory Player/Parent Meeting)
Athletes will meet at 3:30 and the parent meeting will be at 6:00 pm. Following the meeting with the Athletic Director, each team will have their own meeting. If you attended the meeting for Fall or Winter sports, you do not need to attend again, however, important information will be given out at the team meetings.

For those of you that haven’t been, it’s similar to Blaze and CYO where you can pick a “set” personal pizza or build your own w unlimited toppings. Pizzas cook quickly in 3-5 minutes. They also have good salad choices.
** This time I’m told “pizza tokens” that work like gift cards can be purchased and counted **

3/24/16 – DINE OUT NIGHT @ The Kebab Shop in Encinitas
SDA Baseball Families,
Our first dine out night is Thursday March 24 2016 at The Kebab Shop in Encinitas. If you have never been there, the food is great. There are healthy options and your players can load up on some good protein. Best thing is they are giving back 50% to SDA Baseball!

Important Reminder: SDA Spring Baseball Sports Packets
SDA Families,
Please note that Sport Packets for Spring Baseball Tryouts need to be turned in by Feb. 11, 2016. The sport packets need to be turned into Megan in the Athletic Office. You can find the Sport packet and on the link below.

Once this Sport Packet is turned in Megan will process this paperwork and then provide each player with a Blue Card. Each player is required to turn in this Blue Card on the first day of Try-outs. Each player will need to turn in a Blue Card before they are allowed to try-out for the School Spring Baseball season! If a player does not turn in a Blue Card they will not be allowed to try-out. Please download the Sport Packet using the link above.
Fill out this paperwork which includes the need for a current up to date Physical along with other required information. If you do not already have a current Physical, make sure to schedule it now. Some doctor’s offices take a while to get office visits setup.
Try-outs will begin on Sat Feb. 20, 2016; there will more information on exact dates and times as we get closer.
Look for more updates as we get closer but please get started filling out the Sport Packets in time to turn in before Feb. 11, 2016.
