Varsity Head Coach: Jason Stewart
Jason Stewart has been the Boys Varsity Head Basketball Coach at San Dieguito High School Academy since 2014. He has led the Mustangs to the Avocado League Championship (2022), the San Diego CIF DIII Quarterfinals (2018 and 2019) and Semifinal (2021), and the CIF-SDS DIII Championship in 2022. He was named All-CIF Coach of the Year in 2022. Prior to SDA he was the Junior Varsity Head Basketball Coach at Santa Fe Christian. He is also the founder of ProUniversity, a local youth basketball club.
Coach Stewart went to Gateway Christian High School and played college basketball for Hall of Fame Coach Lute Olson at the University of Arizona. He was a member of the 1997 NCAA National Championship team and is in the Wildcats Hall of Fame.
