SDA Swimming, comprised of both boy and girl athletes, is a Spring sport (February – May) that competes in CIF San Diego Section Division I and is a member of the North County Coastal Conference League, which includes:

-Torrey Pines
-Canyon Crest Academy
-Carlsbad
-Sage Creek
Swim and Dive Info Night
Info night will take place in early February. This is a chance for families to hear from the Coach and ask questions about the season. Check back in December or follow us on Instagram for the date and time.
Practices
Swim practices will be held at the Encinitas YMCA from 7:45pm – 9:30pm Monday – Friday beginning in early February. Boys/Girls Varsity & JV will all practice together.
Swim Meets
Swim meets will take place between February and April. Athletes that qualify for CIF will compete in early May.

CIF Time Standards
Time standards to qualify for end of season CIF Championships are listed below. The CIF qualifying system sends all automatic (Auto) qualifiers in every event to the section championship, and then invites swimmers with consideration (Cons) times up until 36th place. Swimmers can achieve qualifying times at any interscholastic meet.
