It has been brought to your Reunion Committee’s attention that some of you would like to donate extra funds to assist those in financial need. These donations would be put in a separate pot and then distributed to those classmates that could use some form of financial assistance. Our intentions are to get all of the classof71 to our 40th reunion at Morgan Run on Saturday evening.
If you would like to attend Morgan Run, and you can afford to pay a portion, or none at all, then email us, and we will put you on a list. Of course it goes without saying that this will be kept strictly confidential. As the event draws closer, we will let you notify you by email if we can make it work.
We welcome your donations!

Your committee had one thing in mind when it came to planning this reunion; make it affordable and fun for all. We encourage all of our classmates to come on out for at least one of our events. The gag gifts have been scratched this time.
Remember, none of us are fillies or colts any more, but we haven’t been put out to pasture yet either! All of us are at least 2 lbs. over, & handicapped in some way, it’s a fact of life! So don’t let anything get in the way of sharing a few hours with classmates/friends.
We are still searching for the “perfect bet” for our Friday Night Ice Breaker
The featured race at Morgan Run has three dinner choices for our Saturday evening event.
Here are the 3 choices for the plated dinner.
- Vegetarian meal: Mediterranean Pasta, which includes Pesto, Sun Dried Tomatoes and Pine Nuts.
- Chicken meal: Chicken Picatta with Capers and Zucchini with Pasta
- Meat meal: Sliced Roasted Tri-Tip with Mushroom Cabernet Sauce, AuGratin Potatoes and a Seasonal Vegetable

Send them off to:
John Meyer

Note: If you pay at the door on Saturday night at Morgan Run it’s gonna cost you an extra ten horseshoes per person! So don’t be lame, and whip out a check to us this week!
UPDATED 06/29/11 Click to download your reunion committee’s second letter.
PLEASE NOTE: Don’t put this off! The reunion will not happen unless you sign up NOW. Get your money to John Meyer at the address listed in the flyer ASAP.
First item of importance is money!! We have payment deadlines that we have to meet with Morgan Run for our Saturday night event. Morgan Run has a minimum of 100 guests that we are required to meet in the contract with them.
The minimum cost to the class of 71 is $5000.00 which comes out to $50.00 per person. The contract requires that 50% of the payment be in Morgan Run’s hot hands by the 1st of August. So we need you to send in your checks.
We have set up an account with Wells Fargo Bank.
The event cost is $55.00 per single person, $110.00 per couple
