Veterans Day Ceremony 10 am, Wed., Nov. 11

We will have a special Veterans Day ceremony Wednesday, November 11 at 10 am, in front of the Fallen Alumni Memorial on campus, honoring Cpl. Armando Diaz Ramos, Class of 1969. All are invited to attend.

Cpl. Ramos died during his service in the Vietnam War, only two weeks before he was to be married to his high school sweetheart, but his name was inadvertently left off the memorial when it was installed over 10 years ago.

We engraved his name on the memorial in September and a SDHS Veterans Association scholarship will be given in his name in May.
