Five Fallen Alumni Scholarships given to seniors May 24, 2018

L-R, Isaac Lopez (’62), Kip Peppin, Terry Carlson (’64) and Sue Sieber Cooper (’66) prepare to hand out the Fallen Alumni Scholarships

On May 24, five deserving seniors received scholarships in the names of five of our Fallen Alumni:

Class of 1960’s Robert Plumbley funded the 1st Lt. Charles B. Henricks, U.S.M.C. Scholarship, which was presented to Alan Miyazaki (’18) by Sue Sieber Cooper (’66). (Alan was a little too quick for us so his picture is a bit blurry!)
Terry Carlson (’64) presented Milo Honsberger (’18) with the Sp4 Raymond N. Curley, U.S. Army Scholarship.
Terry Carlson (’64) presented Kalo Grimsby (’18) with the Capt. Joseph M. Tworek, U.S. Army Scholarship.
The Class of 1965 funded the the Pfc. David Dawson Peppin, Jr., U.S.M.C. Scholarship, which was presented to Holly Teisher (’18) by David’s sister, Kip Peppin.
The Class of 1966 funded the Specialist Four Victor Lopez, U.S. Army Scholarship, which was presented to Audrey Maskiewicz (’18) by Victor’s brother, Isaac Lopez (’62)

Each recipient also received a certificate containing a photograph of the Fallen and a small biography.
