Athletic Clearance Due November 1st for Winter Sports:

Athletes must complete a sports physical and online clearance confirmation page to SDA Athletic Office to participate in Winter sports.

Gear

  • Players purchase their Game Day team turbo brand suits at the beginning of the season through the KAP7 online store.
  • Practice water polo suit
  • Swim caps (one navy, one white) Goalies (red). SDA version will be available on KAP7 online store.
  • Swim goggles
  • Size 4 water polo ball, write your name on it!
  • Game Day Shirt (given when joining the team), new ones can be purchased through the PrimeSports online store.  These are also worn in yearbook photo.

Swim West, located at 120 Encinitas Blvd, gives SDA team members a 20% discount on their gear, practice suits, etc.

Athletic Letterman Jackets (optional). Varsity letters are given out at the end of season banquet to the varsity rostered players. To purchase:

  • Leather sleeve version: order at Town & Country – The Varsity Room, located in Solana Beach. (858) 755-6653
  • Sweathshirt sleeve lighter-weight and less expensive option (sample hanging in the SDA athletic office) is from Mack Packaging in San Marcos. 760-752-3500. Forms with Megan in the Athletic Office.

PE Credit Option

Athletic Credit for PE applications will not be accepted until the start of athletic activities. Contracts should be emailed by 12/15/23 to megan.thompson@sduhsd.net.

A student can earn 5 PE credits per season with a maximum of 20 credits earned through participation on a SDA sports team. Download the Athletic PE Credit Contract here.
