When Sgt. Anna Rodrigues of the U.S.M.C. offered to find us a keynote speaker for this year’s Fallen Alumni ceremony, we honestly felt as if the Marines had landed!
That is how Major Jared Redding, U.S.M.C. came to give our keynote this year. He spoke of the men and women he knew personally who had given their all and reminded us that every day is a Memorial Day for the loved ones of those who gave their all for our country.
After the keynote, alumni, community members, Sgt. Rodrigues, Staff Sgt. Bradley Phillips and friends and family members read the names of our fallen and spoke a little bit about them.
It is in this way that we hope to keep the memories of these 20 individuals alive, to remember their sacrifices and to honor them as best we can.

Sue Sieber Cooper welcomes everyone.

Everyone got comfy!

After a week of off-and-on drizzle, we were so glad to have sunshine for the service.

Alumni and staff were in attendance, including teacher John Cannon, in the front!
