Junior Varsity Head Coach
Blake May joined SDA with 7 years of coaching experience under his belt, both at the club and High School levels for different boys and girls programs in North County San Diego. Blake is a passionate and enthusiastic coach with emphasis on player growth and development. Born and raised in San Diego, Blake is motivated to help play his part to continue to help with the development of the game in his home city and help all players that cross his path reach their maximum potential. Blake provides a welcoming, inclusive, positive and safe environment for all student athletes. He develops and upholds team rules and expectations by clearly communicating with team members and parents. Blake is professional in all actions and words, serving as a positive role model to student athletes. He collaborates with Coaches and Directors to create effective and positive ways to ensure athlete social-emotional and physical development.
